The Golden Rules for A Salon - Part 2

In the previous post, we were talking about why is it necessary to stick to some basic courtesy and decorum while visiting your stylist. In this post we’ll tell you just how to do that.

So here are a few tips before you head to the best salon in Delhi for the next makeover.

  • Request a prior appointment. Life is busy for everyone, especially in the Delhi bridal season and by reaching unannounced you are portraying as if you don’t respect your stylists time. They might have other clients to look after or a personal appointment, you would do a favour to both, self and the stylist by saving each of your time. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t rush in for emergencies but please don’t make it a habit.

  • Honour the appointment. Nothing looks as bad as a client not turning up on her fixed date. If you are stuck somewhere and can’t make it, at least be considerate enough to cancel the appointment well in time. Remember, your stylist would have turned down business or even Delhi bridal bookings just to give you all the attention that you deserve.
  • Directions are helpful, but mark your tone. There is only a hairline of difference between rudeness and giving clear directions. Please make sure that you are at least polite in your requests.
  • Cleanliness and personal hygiene are important. Just as you may get disgusted watching a sloppy worker at your salon, the opposite is also true. Especially in case of wax, spa or any full body treatments, give special attention to your personal hygiene.
  • Don’t let your children run wild. Your stylist is expected to take care of your looks and not babysit your child while you have a nice time. Besides, it will be inconvenient for other visiting customers as well.
  • Stay calm if the results are anything short of what you expected. You can reason out an alternative treatment or a product to counteract the effect but creating a rowdy scene is neither decent nor required.

So, hopefully, these tips would reform your experience at the salon
